Present situation and development strategy of digital resources in ancient Chinese teaching

Different from the past, the mainstream of digital teaching resources of ancient Chinese characters are mainly based on the construction of computer cloud and presented in the form of Web pages. These teaching resources mainly include the following categories:

Firstly, The digitization of dictionaries

For example, Master of Chinese Culture , Han Dian Website , Digital “shuo Wen jie zi” platform , Dictionary of Chinese Character Variants , Xiao xue tang , index , Moedict , etc. These websites realize the online search of ancient Chinese characters and provide a new existence form for the Chinese character books and dictionaries.

Secondly, The digitization of ancient documents

It can be divided into two categories. The first category is the unearthed documents. It can be divided into three categories: (1) Oracle bone literature resource database: for example, Lexicon of pre-Qin Oracle、Bronze Inscriptions and Bamboo Scripts, Yin Qi Wenyuan; (2) Goldstone literature resource database: such as Digital Archives of Bronze Images and Inscriptions ; (3) Bamboo slip and silk literature resource database: for example, Chu dynasty bamboo slips and silk dictionary (Tsinghua Bamboo Slips); The second category is paper documents. It is also divided into two categories :(1)Full-text document database. Works, such as Chinese basic classics Database; Papers, such as Full-text Database of CCS Publications. (2) Bibliographic databases, such as National directory of precious ancient database .

Thirdly, Multimedia teaching platform

The online teaching platform covers diversified and personalized teaching resources such as PPT courseware, electronic teaching plan, test exercises, and video online courses. Online teaching platforms such as MOOC, Jreenity, Chaoxing and Xuetangx all contain a large number of resources related to the teaching of ancient Chinese characters in universities. For example, the course "Chinese Characters and Traditional Chinese Culture" taught by Mr. Wang Ning in MOOC offered by Beijing Normal University.

Lastly, The digitization of academic research resources

It can be divided into two categories. First, digital resources of periodical literature, such as Duxiu, CNKI(China National Knowledge Infrastructure), China Science and Technology Journal Database etc. Second, the ancient Chinese character learning and research public number. It includes the public accounts of universities, research institutions and academic journals as well as the personal public accounts of some scholars or enthusiasts.

The construction of digital teaching resources of ancient Chinese characters shows the tendency of sharing, chain and multi-field cooperation, and has gradually developed into a comprehensive and inclusive comprehensive system. The construction and utilization of digital teaching resources will become an indispensable part of the teaching of ancient Chinese characters in the future. In terms of resource standardization and applicability, popularization and application of teaching resources, intellectual property protection, resource integration and sharing, resource management, renewal and maintenance, there are still many problems to be solved in ancient Chinese character resources.

The construction of digital teaching resources needs efforts in specialization, standardization and applicability. The construction of digital teaching resources of ancient Chinese characters is also faced with these challenges.


有别于以往,现阶段古汉字教学数字化资源的主流,多依托计算机云端建设,以web网页形式呈现。主要有四大类。

第一大类,数字化字书辞典。如,国学大师、汉典、数字化《说文解字》、小学堂、异体字字典、引得市、字海网等。可实现在线古汉字检索查询,为字书辞典提供了一种新的存在形式。

第二大类,数字化古籍文献。又分两类。第一类,出土文献类。又分三小类:(一)甲骨文献资源库:如殷契文渊;(二)金石文献资源库:如殷周金文暨青铜器资料库;(三)简帛文献资源库:如楚简帛字典(清华简);第二类,纸质文献类。又分为两小类:(一)全文文献资料库。著作类,如中国基本古籍库;期刊论文类,如汉学研究中心。(二)目录文献资料库,如国家珍贵古籍名录数据库。

第三大类,多媒体在线学习平台。在线学习平台涵盖PPT课件、电子教案、试题习题、视频网课等多样化、个性化的教学资源,MOOC中国、“爱课程”网、中国大学Mooc、学堂在线、智慧树等在线教学平台,都收录有各大高校开设的古汉字教学课程资源。

第四大类,数字化学术交流平台。又分三类。第一类,学术交流论坛,如国学数典、学乐酷、汉典论坛等。第二类,古汉字学习与研究公众号。主要由各高校、研究机构及学术期刊杂志社或个人创办。第三类,文献资源导航平台,如奎章阁、中国研究网络资源导航动态数据库、海交史等。

目前古汉字教学数字化资源建设展现出共享化,链条化和多领域合作化的倾向,已逐渐发展成全面包容的综合体系,数字化教学资源成为未来古汉字教学不可或缺的内容。在数据深度加工、资源标准化和资源集成共享、知识产权保护、资源管理和更新维护方面,古汉字教学数字化资源尚有诸多问题亟待解决。

未来古汉字教学数字化资源需秉持便捷性、标准性、包容性、及时性发展策略,不断优化升级,以期实现更高层次的目标。
